Shane's ability to lead when required and learn and follow when needed has garnered the respect of his colleagues in the public safety profession. Shane's knowledge, passion and skills have made him an integral part of the Law Enforcement Community. He is routinely called upon by fellow officers to answer questions, give advice or provide assistance. 

 

Shane has always found it essential to not only protect the community, but be an active participant within the community. Shane is a member and supports numerous civic organizations. Shane routinely donates his time and financial support to organizations and even individuals in need. Shane truly lives by the code of "Service above Self".

 

In closing Shane is a God fearing man who is not shy about his faith. He is not afraid to pray in public nor preach the gospel. He is known for using his faith to help others in their time of need and even when they are in his back seat. For those that have crossed the line, there is one resounding description of Shane Rapp that is constantly touted " He is firm but fair, he does not judge, he will help when he can, but if you're in the wrong he will put your butt in jail". Very few Law Enforcement Officers can boast the amount of people that Shane Rapp has helped turn their lives around. From teenagers to grown ups he has helped them all. When asked why, he simply says "that's what God would want me to do".
